Other Ways Of Seeing - Opening and events

Wow! Other Ways Of Seeing was fabulous!

What a great exhibition we made with Orestes Gonzalez. Usually, I don’t express my pride but this time I don’t feel bad about it. First, because I’m not proud of myself, I’m proud of the work of all the artists who accepted our invitation and all the people who made this possible starting with Edjo Wheeler, the Director of Culture Lab at the Plaxall Gallery, and of course Orestes Gonzalez, the Director of the Photography Program at Culture Lab who really know how to create wonderful events.

We showed the work of 71 artists from over 20 countries using 20 distinct processes from cyanotype, to wet plate collodion, to chlorophyll printing, to platinum/palladium, to name just a few. Despite a peak in the pandemic, we had an amazing opening and we created events you can see in the images above.

The catalog of the exhibition is available on MagCloud.

And to give life to Other Ways Of Seeing after the closing of the exhibition, we made a book you can look at and buy on MagCloud.

Please stay tuned with Culture Lab.
