Life Interrupted - Exhibition at The Plaxall Gallery
“Life Interrupted” is a great exhibition focusing on the way life is drastically altered by unexpected changes in political, economic, and familial circumstances. Thanks to Orestes Gonzalez and LIC-A (Long Island City Artists) for inviting me to present my work “Immigrant Song” on a large scale.
I have eleven quadriptychs in the show displayed in a new arrangement that deconstructs the quadrilogy formed by the portrait of the immigrants, the object they brought from their country, the 4stones composition they made, and the text they wrote. To know more about “Immigrant Song,” visit the page on this website.
There’s also a great article to read in All About Photo to discover all the artists in the show and get an overview of the exhibition.
Despite the snow and the freezing weather, we had a fantastic opening very well attended. We will have an artists’ talk on Saturday, February 1. I will have the pleasure to present my work.
