4stones’ retrospective - 20 years in 20 images

Twenty years ago, on November 8, 2002, Marianne Dissard, a friend from Tucson, Arizona, made the first composition of the 4stones.

At that time, I was shooting film, focusing on shapes, textures, shadows, and color. I was far from thinking that this project would last so many years.

Below, you can explore 4stones in ten steps over 20 years, exploring various capture systems and printing processes.

Most of these photographs have been shown in exhibitions in Paris, Madrid, and New York.
